1. What are your payment plans and options?

You can sign up for a monthly subscription ($19 a month) or a yearly subscription ($180 a year, save 20%). We also offer discounts for groups of 5 or more.


2. How do I upgrade my Basic membership?

If you have a pre-existing $9 a month membership you will be able to continue accessing Tutorials and Source Files into the future. To become a full member and access eBooks and our library of courses, you’ll need to upgrade your account to the current membership plan. This will be an additional $10 a month and is a separate subscription that works in tandem with your Basic membership to give you full access. You can upgrade at any time via your ‘My Account’ area. The two subscriptions in tandem will total $19 a month (less if your Basic membership was discounted).


3. Do you offer any other payment methods, besides PayPal and Moneybookers (Skrill)?

At this time pure credit card payments are not supported. However, it’s easy to pay with your credit card through PayPal.


4. I need to cancel my membership. What do I do?

Membership cancellation is handled through your payment provider. You can cancel your membership at any time, for any reason.

Subscriptions can be cancelled in PayPal or Moneybookers (Skrill) by following these steps.

PayPal

  1. Log into PayPal.
  2. Click the ‘History’ tab.
  3. Select ‘Subscriptions’ from the ‘Show’ drop-down menu (under the ‘Search’ heading).
  4. Select a timeframe that includes the first payment date for your Premium subscription.
  5. Click ‘Search’.
  6. You should see an entry called ‘Subscription Creation’ with the name of your Tuts+ Premium subscription in the ‘Name/Email’ column. There will be a link in the ‘Status’ column that tells you the status of the subscription. If it says’Active’ click it.
  7. Click the button that says ‘Cancel Subscription’.

MoneyBookers (Skrill)

  1. Log into MoneyBookers (Skrill).
  2. Go to ‘My Account’.
  3. Go to ‘History’.
  4. Go to ‘Recurring Payments’.
  5. Find your Tuts+ subscription and follow the prompts to cancel it.

5. How can I claim my 30-day 100% money-back guarantee?

Follow the steps outlined in FAQ #3 and cancel your subscription. Copy your PayPal or Moneybookers (Skrill) receipt number, your payment email address and the date of purchase. Next, create a Support Ticket including this information as well as your member name, full name and postal address to our Support Desk.

We’ll issue a 100% refund within 7 working days of receipt of your request.


6. Can I change my membership payment plan?

At this time the only way to change your membership plan is to cancel your current membership and re-subscribe to a new payment plan. We’re working to add the ability to change membership plans in the future.


7. What should I do if I’ve forgotten my username or password?

Click ‘Sign In’ in the top right corner of this website. Next to the username and password field there will be a ‘Forgot Password’ option. You can go through this process to recover your password.


8. What should I do if something isn’t working?

If you notice that something isn’t working as it should be, we’d like to fix it. Please submit a Support Ticket so we can work on resolving the issue.


9. What are source files?

Source Files include tutorial project files and resources (like vectors, brushes, and apps). Most of them are companion project files for tutorials on the Tuts+ Network of sites.


10. How does Tuts+ Premium relate to the Tuts+ Network?

The Tuts+ Network includes sites like Psdtuts+, Nettuts+ and Vectortuts+. Tuts+ Premium was originally a way for readers of these sites to access bonus content for a small monthly fee. Since then, Tuts+ Premium has grown into its own standalone platform and can be used independently from any of the Tuts+ sites.


11. How does the Tuts+ Premium affiliate program work?

If you have a blog, website, email list or Twitter account then you can recommend Tuts+ Premium to your audience and earn a 50% commission on every new user you bring into the program. The affiliate program provides a great opportunity to earn passive income recommending a product that you enjoy using.

You can keep making a commission on each membership for up to one year, or as much as $114 per user.

We give you a selection of attractive promotional banners you can start using straight away. You can view reports of your earnings from your ‘My Account’ area after you sign in.

Affiliate commission is 50% for the duration of each membership you refer, up to 12 months. Affiliate payments are made on a 2 month delay, so in the first week of March, payments for January would be made (for example). This allows us to account for fraud and users who request refunds. All payments are made via PayPal only.

Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

New Members referred via your referral link are eligible if they:

  • have cookies enabled on their browser;
  • do not clear their cookies;
  • have not been previously referred by another Member;
  • have been referred via an external site and not through an Envato site; and
  • create a paid subscription within 14 days of the referral;
  • do not request a 100% money back refund on their subscription.

You may not refer new Members by:

  • purchasing a domain name, search engine keyword or pay-per-click advertisement that use any Envato trademarks and/or variations and mis-spellings thereof; or
    sending unsolicited email or other messaging that in any way may constitute spam;
  • engaging in any conduct that would amount to a breach of any laws including, but not limited to, privacy, intellectual property and spam; and
  • engaging in any conduct that is directly or indirectly in contravention of any direction given to you by Envato or these Membership Terms.

Envato reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to determine whether or not your use of the referral program complies with any applicable laws and/or these Terms. Envato’s determination as to whether or not your use of the referral program is in breach of any applicable laws and/or these Terms is final and binding.

If Envato determines that you have not complied with any applicable laws and/or these Terms, Envato will disable your Member Account and withhold all Referral Commissions that may be payable by Envato to you at the time it becomes aware of your failure to comply.
