Installation

Before I can begin teaching you about the PHP language, we first need to get the necessary tools setup on your system. While we could go through the process of compiling PHP from scratch, and manually downloading MySQL, at this point in your training, it’s a better choice to keep things simple, and use a dedicated “one-click” installer.
