Quincy Gardner
My name is Quincy Gardner and I was born in Wilson, North Carolina. I didn't get into the film world until late 2010. After watching Battlestar Galactica one afternoon, I decided to write my own script and shoot it. I started to study ever aspect of film and became comfortable with a lot of software. With my shoots, I did the vfx, sound, and editing myself. The films being my first, were horrid but I learned so much and I was still proud. After the films I begin to study advanced online courses on compositing, color grading, and 3d modeling. I even got lucky and studied some from "Monsters" director Gareth Edwards, through a course he offered on fxphd. After putting in that time, I now specialize in editing, color grading, and cinematography. I still live in North Carolina but I now do freelance work as a videographer and direct my own films.
